WCA Owner/Tenant Contact Update Form

Maintaining current contact information helps the board and its committees reach owners and tenants with important board announcements as well as during emergency events such as a water/gas main break or to report storm damage to vehicles or other property.  Each owner and paying tenant should complete a separate form.  Non-resident owners should enter their address at the end of the form.  Note: You do NOT need to have a Google account in order to update and submit the form.

Hunter Mill District News, June 29, 2020

June 29, 2020

To My Hunter Mill District Neighbors:

The Board of Supervisors will receive a COVID-19 update from our county Health Director Dr. Gloria Addo-Ayensu tomorrow during the Health and Human Services Committee Meeting at 1:30 p.m. You can watch the live stream here. Fortunately, we are still seeing a decline in new cases (albeit a smaller decline) and Fairfax County is expected to be with the rest of the state when Governor Northam transitions Virginia to Phase 3 reopening this Wednesday, July 1.

However, I want to caution all our residents that as restrictions are relaxed that cases will likely increase. With our new freedoms we have to be smart about it. It is essential that we continue to observe social distancing, wear face coverings and stay home when sick. The pandemic is not over and there are lessons to be learned from Texas, Florida, Georgia and other states that reopened early with less stringent public health guidelines. We can continue the gradual reopening but only if we follow public health guidelines.

Also tomorrow, I will be chairing the Information Technology Committee meeting at 9:30 a.m. and the Transportation Committee meeting at 3 p.m. In addition, the Housing Committee meeting is at 11 a.m.The meetings can be accessed as televised on Channel 16, streamed live onlineand available to view on demand following the meetings.

Respectfully,
Walter
