Maintaining current contact information helps the board and its committees reach owners and tenants with important board announcements as well as during emergency events such as a water/gas main break or to report storm damage to vehicles or other property.  Each owner and paying tenant should complete a separate form.  Non-resident owners should enter their address at the end of the form.  Note: You do NOT need to have a Google account in order to update and submit the form.

To My Hunter Mill District Neighbors:

Our libraries are among the most treasured assets in Hunter Mill District, as well as countywide. Both the Reston Regional and Patrick Henry libraries have served as community hubs for many of us and have certainly been missed while closed due to the pandemic. However, there is some good news to share! The Library will begin curbside pickup of holds and grab bags at all branches this Monday, June 1. The curbside program is available Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
To pick up your holds: 
  • Please park in the designated area of your library’s lot and call the branch phone number posted on the sign. Branch phone numbers can also be found online on individual branch web pages.
  • Provide your library card number to staff on the phone and remain in your car until your holds have been deposited on the pickup table and library staff have returned to the building.
In addition to picking up holds, you may request a particular book or a staff-selected grab bag based on reading level and preferences by calling the branch. Contacting the library with requests ahead of time will provide a faster pickup experience. In addition, you can begin to return your books and materials. Learn more.

Please note that the Board of Supervisors is having a special (virtual) meeting tomorrow, Thursday, May 28, at 3 p.m. to consider adopting an emergency ordinance to temporarily permit expanded use of outdoor space for dining, as well as fitness/exercise activities as we move into the Phase 1 re-opening. Details and how to watch.

The Fairfax County Animal Shelter recently announced the availability of a temporary pet food pantry. Face Coverings Required Inside Public Places Beginning Friday
Governor Ralph Northam announced yesterday, May 26, that face coverings will now be required when people are inside public spaces. The requirement takes effect on Friday, May 29, and the executive order is intended to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Composting at Home During Pandemic
With yard waste pickup temporarily halted to protect solid waste employees during the pandemic, residents may have yard waste materials readily available for composting. Learn more

To help limit the spread of the coronavirus, Fairfax County closed all government buildings and facilities to the public until further notice. However, the county government remains open for business online and by phone and mail and some specific services will continue to be provided in-person. Learn more.
 
County Fire Stations Close to Public
In order to protect the health of firefighters and medics, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue is closing all fire stations to the public, effective Friday, March 27, at 5 p.m. These closures are in coordination with the decision to close county government buildings to the public. Learn more.
